With a growing pipeline of minor works, we’re seeking an experienced Project Manager – Property to oversee a portfolio of low‑complexity projects and support consistent, cost‑effective delivery across our sites.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the General Manager, Property, you will manage the end‑to‑end delivery of minor works projects—typically refurbishments, compliance upgrades, cosmetic improvements and small asset replacements under ~$500k. You’ll coordinate multiple projects across residential and community sites, ensuring they meet quality, safety, budget and program requirements while minimising disruption to residents and staff.
You will also help strengthen project governance, improve reporting visibility and reduce reliance on external consultants for low‑complexity works.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver minor works projects from scoping to handover
- Manage schedules, budgets, risks and reporting
- Coordinate design, procurement, construction and commissioning activities
- Oversee contractor performance and compliance
- Maintain accurate documentation and financial governance
- Communicate effectively with site teams and internal stakeholders
- Ensure all works meet regulatory, WHS and organisational standards
ABOUT YOU
You are a practical, delivery‑focused project manager with strong stakeholder skills and experience working in live operational environments.
Essential:
- Property/construction project management experience (aged care/healthcare ideal)
- Strong knowledge of building codes, WHS and compliance
- Experience managing contractors and suppliers
- Ability to manage multiple dispersed projects
- Solid budget and program management skills
- Proficiency with project management/reporting tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Current driver’s license and willingness to travel
Desirable:
- Qualifications in Project/Construction Management
- Experience with procurement and contract administration
- Familiarity with quality and risk frameworks
- Experience staging works in live environments
