An exciting and rare opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic, go-getter to join our Easton Park Hospitality Team as our Sous Chef. This role is suited for an experienced Chef/Foodie who is obsessed with service and is an ideal position for someone who is looking to take the next step in their career. We are looking for an innovative and logical thinker who loves to drive teams and culture.

Responsibility spans across our Sir David Martin home with a huge focus on staff engagement, resident satisfaction and just generally being awesome.

Reporting to the Head Chef you will lead a team of dedicated Foodie’s who create a fabulous dining experience for our 160 residents.

Successful candidates must be able to work Wednesday to Sunday 11:30 to 19:30.

YOUR DUTIES

Whiddon Easton Park – Sir David Martin:

• Creating, making and cooking fantastic flavoured food that residents choose to eat
• Being Awesome and Creating WOW factor
• Working with a dedicated team and mentoring your team of chefs, Food and Dining Experience Supervisor and Foodie team members
• Creating energy and driving quality and excellence
• Implementing innovative thinking and products
• Working with a team of experienced, energetic (A little crazy) – Hospitality Management Team from support services
• Being fun, lighthearted but professional and passionate
• Training and demonstrations with your team and residents
• Yes yes, food safety and all that important stuff. But make it fun
• Show them how to make it different and keep the buzz going
