At Whiddon, we’re passionate about creating exceptional experiences for our residents and their families. We’re seeking a dynamic 2nd in Charge to support our Sales & Customer Service Team Leader and help lead our Central Sales & Admissions Team.

In this role, you’ll provide hands-on guidance and support to a dedicated team who are the first point of contact for potential residents and families. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders including hospitals and referrers—to enhance occupancy and deliver an outstanding client experience.

THE ROLE

  • Support the Sales & Customer Service Manager in daily operations and team leadership.
  • Monitor service metrics, ensure compliance, and uphold high standards of service.
  • Coach and mentor team members, fostering growth and excellence.
  • Champion our CRM system, driving adoption, optimisation, and improved stakeholder experiences.
  • Manage sensitive conversations, complaints, and escalations with empathy and professionalism.
  • Assist with contracts, financial estimates, and formal documentation with high attention to detail.

THE ESSENTIAL

  • Experience in account management, sales, or customer-focused roles within aged care, health, or community sectors.
  • Strong track record of achieving commercial targets while maintaining a customer-centred approach.
  • High-level CRM proficiency, data reporting, and sales analytics experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor team members.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and an empathetic approach.
  • Knowledge of the residential aged care sector, funding models, and fees (desirable).
  • Qualifications in business, health, or aged care (desirable).

We are hoping you will join our fantastic Whiddon family at Support Services (Glenfield), on a Permanent full-time basis. Working Monday to Friday 9:00-17:00 (can be flexible)
