Purpose of the role

As a Wellness Warrior, you will bring joy, connection and create memorable experiences that brighten the lives of residents by supporting activities that keep them engaged, active and socially connected. 

Key responsibilities

• Build meaningful connections with older people through friendly interactions
• Support older people to participate in group and individual activities
• Encourage engagement, confidence and social connection
• Assist staff is setting up, running and packing up activities
• Help create a warm, inclusive and uplifting environment where residents feel valued and supported
• You can choose how you would like to contribute and what feels most natural and enjoyable for you. Some options include reading a book, singing, getting creative with arts & crafts, playing cards, bingo or board games, playing musical instrument or simply listening to music together. If you have a special skill or passion you'd like to share - we are always open to new ideas.
