Purpose of the role
As a Wellness Warrior, you will bring joy, connection and create memorable experiences that brighten the lives of residents by supporting activities that keep them engaged, active and socially connected.
Key responsibilities
- Build meaningful connections with older people through friendly interactions
- Support older people to participate in group and individual activities
- Encourage engagement, confidence and social connection
- Assist staff is setting up, running and packing up activities
- Help create a warm, inclusive and uplifting environment where residents feel valued and supported
- You can choose how you would like to contribute and what feels most natural and enjoyable for you. Some options include reading a book, singing, getting creative with arts & crafts, playing cards, bingo or board games, playing musical instrument or simply listening to music together. If you have a special skill or passion you'd like to share - we are always open to new ideas.
